So I was browsing youtube and came across this video and it kind of annoyed me. Let me just give you a general feel for this video. Essentially the guy is going on about how he hates girl gamers, he seems to group them together and says that they’re just attention seeking whores who are generally playing of their boyfriends account, looking to get some comments from horny boys.

It irritates me that someone would tar all the ladies who game with the same brush. Yea there are some obnoxious girl gamers (as much as there are obnoxious male gamers) but we’re not all the same. In fact I usually make a point of not talking when online because I don’t want to be judged on the fact that I have a vagina and a pair of boobs. Just because I’m female doesn’t make me any less capable as a gamer.

Secondly I feel pissed off at the girls who do kind of cheapen and discredit the other serious girl gamers. There are a lot of these pictures circulating the internet where its a girl in her pants with a controller in her mouth and really thats not the case with most girl gamers.

I think if we were in a perfect world there wouldn’t be a distinction. We’re not girl gamers. We are just gamers. Skill should not be determined by whether we have a penis or a vagina. Skill should be determined by your dedication as a gamer. Stop trying to make yourself into some sort of unique thing because of your genitalia. You are not incapable because of it!

That is all. I just wanted to get that off my chest haha

Well it seems that I have missed my chance with the guy I liked from work. I said that its probably for the best and that it doesn’t matter, but why does my chest feel so tight when I think about it? I don’t know what to make of it really.

On the flip side of my life there’s a guy I like who comes to the gigs me and my brothers band play at. He’s really nice and there seems to be chemistry between us. The only thing that, I wouldn’t say puts me off but makes me worried, is that he has a daughter. I know that shouldn’t make a difference but it does worry me slightly.

I probably shouldn’t think about it anyway. Ill see what happens and then ill think about it. I don’t even know if he likes me so yea.

Blah my love life is just so shit right now. I’m getting pains in my chest just thinking about it all.

Sooo I’ve been on a diet to try and loose some weight. I’ve always been a big girl and I had just had enough of it.

So I’ve been using the My Fitness Pal app on the iPhone to simply calorie count. It’s a fantastic thing! In the 50 or so days that I’ve been using it I’ve lost around 12lb. I’m kinda hovering at the moment though so I think I need to do more aerobics to loose weight. Just swimming doesn’t seem to be cutting it now lol

So this photo is just a little comparison shot between about 3 weeks ago and today. I like to be able to physically see the difference and it seems like my thighs, bum and tum are getting slightly thinner. I know I’ve lost about 2 inches from my waist :)

Seeing this photo is going to spur me to loose more until I’m a healthier weight and bmi! Wish me luck guys :)

This is some of the worst, most disgusting abuse I’ve ever seen.

This woman, named Farida Khan, abuses and tortures horses forPLEASURE. It’s a FETISH of hers and her followers to beat and hurt horses. She makes videos of herself spurring the horse to death and whipping it until it bleeds.

There are comments on her youtube videos like “I don’t like the color of the horse, you should change it to blood red”.

It is absolutely HORRIBLE. She is seen posting comments on her pictures like,

“oh yes it definitely hurts them a lot and i enjoy seeing them suffering for my pleasure. whipping and kicking is the best thing i like when i am astride it gives me a nice feel and its such a wonderful feeling to control such a beast”

As a horse screams, bucks, and writhes beneath her.

My heads a bit full at the moment. I had a dream last night which made me wake up with tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. I don’t remember much of what happened in the dream, other than I remember a boy and a girl behind me asking why I was crying and I was holding something really heavy and cumbersome. I don’t know what it means though.

It was last year that me and the guy I liked ended up going out in town after the Christmas party at work. After that there was some kissing and generally coupley behaviour like him spinning me round and holding my hand. Maybe the dream is about my worries of him?

My closest friend has told me to not get my hopes up that anything will happen this year, things seem to have gotten better with us, in the sense that he initiates conversations with me on fb and by text, but I’m gunna try to stay un-expectant. However it’s hard not to hope something will happen. I mean I have liked him for over a year now. I’ve been reading too much shoujou manga and it’s got my head in bits lol bloody terrible. Typical romance and awkward situations! Fingers crossed I suppose.

Some people annoy me. I have someone on my Facebook who I used to work with and it seems like she is neglecting her pets. A couple of days ago she puts up on fb that ‘the stupid cold’ has killed two of her rabbits. Now I’m sorry but it’s been all over the tv about the weather getting much colder and she’s obviously done nothing to prevent her rabbits getting too cold and freezing to death. Just because an animal has fur doesn’t mean they’re invulnerable to the cold. Domestic animals aren’t built for the wild really.

So maybe I’m over reacting. Maybe it was an unfortunate accident, until you see that she’s been to ‘Pets at home’ (a rather large pet store chain, where the staff generally have a pretty good knowledge of what pets need), to buy some fish. She apparently lied to the member of staff about how many fish she already had in the tank and has now overpopulated the tank, claiming that the staff were ‘retarded’ and didn’t have a clue. However now she has killed the new fish because she hasn’t got a clue how to look after them and introduce them to the tank. Of course she’ll blame the store because she was too ignorant to take the advise of someone who obviously knows better.

It makes me so angry, I mean I know they’re just fish, I know it’s none of my business and it’s not effecting me but it makes me mad knowing that someone is being so ignorant and thinks they know better than the experts. They’re needlessly killing creatures because they’re too careless and stupid to take care of them properly.
